Lo dijo Mafalda cuando un vendedor llam籀 a su puerta preguntando si el jefe de la casa pod穩a salir al rellano. Evidentemente, la ni簽a entendi籀 que en los tiempos que corren eso era una tonter穩a. Si hay algo que haga a繳n m獺s fuertes los v穩nculos entre padres e hijos, es la capacidad de 矇sta para repartir tareas, para deshacerse de los roles est繳pidos que la sociedad impone y para encontrar el cari簽o en los defectos de sus componentes. Mafalda lo sabe muy bien, y las vi簽etas de Quino lo demuestran: la 繳nica certeza sobre las familias es que s籀lo ser獺n felices aquellas conscientes de que nunca, jam獺s, ser獺n perfectas. ENGLISH DESCRIPTION We can pretend that our family is happy or we can do like Mafalda: assume that no family is perfect, but that is what makes them unique, welcoming, ours. "The family is the base of society," read Miguelito; and immediately thought: "Whose family? Mine is not to blame for anything." In this family there are no bosses, we are a cooperative." Mafalda said it when a salesman knocked on her door asking if the head of the house could go out to the landing. Obviously, the girl understood that these days it was nonsense. If there is one thing that makes the bonds between parents and children even stronger, it is their capacity to distribute tasks, to get rid of the stupid roles that society imposes and to find love in the defects of its components. Mafalda knows this very well, and Quino's vignettes demonstrate this: the only certainty about families is that the families who are happy are those who understand that they will never, ever be perfect.
